This looks very much like a black man who was a TV commentator/personality in the San Francisco Bay Area about more than 20 years ago. He did not originally carry a muslim name but subsequently changed it and became more radical in his message. He was a real huckster/hustler.
The name you are providing sounds like the name he used when he was in the Bay Area. Also the MO you are providing i.e. advisor to powerful men and vendor of health foods also sounds exactly like this man. Suggest you research Black TV commentators 30-40 years ago. At the time there were not that many. As I recall he had a weekly show on a local network on Sundays under the name Khalid al Mansour.
