Ayers lived part of his life as a terrorist and now is living a different part of his life as a radical educator. Obama intersected only the second part of Ayer’s life.

The television advertisement attempts to link Obama to the first part of Ayer’s life. The advertisement talks about Ayers and bombings, not about Ayers and educational policies.

Bombing buildings never has been Obama’s gig. Rather, Obama’s gigs have been studying and teaching constitutional law, engaging in public politics, and developing legislation. Now he wants to get into another gig as the chief enforcer of the nation’s laws.

What more do you demand that he say about Ayer’s terrorist past? Would anything more that Obama said about that subject satisfy you, or do you just want to pick on this scab forever and ever?
