Shout them down? Whisper threats? talk them into submission? Give them a free first-class upgrade on the flight home? Plead with them? Negotiate? Extol the sublime virtues of “Unity”, “Hope” and “Change”? Give the dirty looks? Charm them? Just what, I wonder, will these rapid responses be?
