Obama is relying on the Youth Vote, Blacks, and the rich white yuppies. But Seniors outnumber the Youth Vote by 8 million. Baby Busts have consequences. Seniors vote around 76%, the Youth Vote participates at less than 50%. Going by the 2004 data from the US Census bureau.

Moreover, Seniors and middle aged people have vastly different priorities than Iraq. Gas prices, crime, food prices. Obama is on the wrong side of all of those issues. Iraq probably doesn’t matter. He can’t pivot on the most important issues, because his base will revolt. Gas prices? They must be HIGH! Crime? Same.
