14. Lifeofthemind:

You seem to have some difficulty with those of us who are not convinced by the lack of credible evidence that obama is an eligible person to serve as US President…so tell ya what…why don’t you just get the hell over telling us that we’re way off track, comprende? In fact allow me to quote that great American Senator, Arlen Specter, that what you consider a closed matter is “not proven”. While you’re at it perhaps you would like to inform us of exactly how we should think on other selected topics you have deemed settled matters. That should be rich.

Scottish Justice Secretary, Kenny MacAskill, made the decision to release Megrahi on some totally whacked out Scottish sense of compassion. The next line in the story of course is all of the compassion Megrahi showed the passengers of Pan Am 103 who suffered a horrible death. Yes, the rapid decompression knocked them all out but doesn’t mitigate the malice of forethought in their deaths. Had they been grounded no doubt Megrahi would have taken great delight in slitting their throats on Youtube.,,

Dr.Sanity got it right in pointing out that in a world that will tolerate MacAskill’s decision but condemn and find totally unacceptable verbal abuse under the rubric of being “hate speech” or politically incorrect is a world that has lost touch with civility and any sense of proportionality in it’s application of distributive justice. .
