It’s like, you’re racing another guy from point a to point b, and you take a wrong turn say 5% of the distance. now you have to double back, so 10% just to get back to where you went wrong, and the other guy meanwhile is 10% down the right road, so your 5% error = 20% error, which = 100% of your chance to win. this is known as “game theery”.
