Buddy:

I literally laughed out loud on that last one. Well played.

Jefe:

I didn’t need to announce anything, I was simply replying to someone’s earlier assertions about my intelligence. Perhaps I should not have bothered to sink to his level. ;c)

Anyway, I have not spoken to a single muslim that agreed with GW’s Afghanistan and Iraq policies. The number isn’t great (maybe 30, tops), but not hearing a single opposing viewpoint is surprising nonetheless.

I wonder if any studies have been done on that subject…it would be interesting to see how the opinions of muslims in America break down when it comes to GW’s Middle Eastern policies.

Attitude:

“And as any liberal Israel hater you don’t think they had a right to defend themselves. Look at a map, they are out numbered.”

Quick question for you: what do you use to swat a fly that is buzzing around your living room? Do you use a flyswatter, or do you firebomb your living room?

They may be outnumbered in number of bodies, but not in military might.

Please don’t put words in my keyboard. I don’t hate Israel in the slightest. I believe that, as the occupying power, Israel must be the one to make concessions in order for there to be peace.

And as for what I believe (in general)…I believe in the mutual respect of and care for fellow humans, everywhere. If you want to relate what I consider “right” and “wrong” to a belief system, it would fall mostly in line with secular judeo-christian beliefs. As for other social issues, I am pro-equality for women, homosexuals, racial minorities, and members of all religions.

I overreacted earlier when I said “And no, god does not exist. The sooner the world realizes this, the sooner there will be peace.”, and that was wrong of me. I personally do not believe in god, but I do believe that there is nothing wrong with believing in a god, so long as that belief does not impinge upon others.
