I’m very much looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on this. Ignore the hysteria and the frothy saliva all over the rhetorical floor. It all amounts to nothing more than anything else you might have wiped off of your Justin boots a time or two…. There are a lot of folks on this blog who would both enjoy and benefit from an informed discussion. Having many muslim friends and acquaintances who are NOT out to “dhimmify” me any more than I am out to make them swear an oath of fealty to the Pope, I would be interested to learn your perspective.

Wretchard is right. We are gazing upon the threshold of a time that may require considered, resolute action. Action without insight is worse than useless. Insight begins with accurate, objective understanding. Understanding begins with mutual respect of the experiences and considered opinions of men and women of goodwill everywhere. It is time for us all to get a grip, and pull together.
