Habu, there is not a “civil war” but rather an eternal struggle in the West between elites and the populists. Something that has characterized the West since about 1000 AD or so.

What is different this time is that women have sided decisively with the elites. Tipping the balance of social, political, cultural, and economic power. It’s not the Congressional Black Caucus, Blacks make up only 12.5% of the population. It’s not La Raza, Whites are still 65-70% of the population. It’s not Bill Ayers, or other trust-fund radicals because there is not that much of them. It’s not even SWPL yuppies because while there are a lot of them, there are still not enough of SWPL + Blacks + Hispanics + Gays to win decisive political, social, and cultural victories.

It is rather women who are the bricks on the balance scales, and they needed little general persuasion because their genuine short term interests are aligned directly with the elites.

Captain Phillips has been freed by his own bravery and the SEALS disregarding direct Presidential orders (highly likely reading through the lines).

This is a disaster for the elites, because it diminishes their power and increases that of populists. Expect punishments for all involved, and examples made.
