And where does it say that? Rather, it appears that the Obama Admin has decided that “some of our intelligence organs” are full of it. Possibly this recognition was fostered by the closer contact with those organs that resulted from winning the election. Perhaps one of the previously valued Obama-friendly analysts came to a briefing wearing a Napoleon costume.

Or perhaps the Obama Admin, having found the pronoucements of said analysts very useful during the campaign, has come to the realization that scrambling the Hawaii fighter force on the morning of 7 Dec 1941 in reponse to a curious radar report would have at worst burned up some avgas and at best averted a debacle. It is fine to critcize from the sidelines with imputiny, but when you are holding the bag, it is better to be safe.
