I’m almost finished reading “The Forgotten Man” by Amity Shlaes (A New History of the Great Depression) and among the lessons learned is “beware the charismatic politician”. BHO shares the softly packaged hard leftism of FDR. One more like that and the USA may never recover. FDR whispered in the electorate’s ears that the Depression was all the rich people’s fault, starting both the class warfare theme the Demo’s still love, and the denial of personal responsibility that has largely unmade much of the nation.

So, no. The prospect of a BHO presidency cannot be taken with equanimity in this quarter. God help us all.
