“America’s liberal elite desperately crave the approval of Europe’s elite.”

That’s right, and there is also no real difference between the European left elite and the European right elite. All the European elites believe in Socialism in one form or another, and by any other name; and that means the injustice or tyranny of the minority – the minority which rules without the consent of the governed. These anti-American European elites are the heroes of the American left.

It is so ironic to me that the “American right” is the only political force which still stands for just government power which derives from the consent of the governed – rule by the will of the majority while protecting the inalienable rights of the minority.
