You’re quite possibly right about McCain in 2012 – he’s looking a bit crunchy at 72. I agree re his VP. I’ve heard a bit floated about AK’s gov – interesting idea – she sounds good, but would she be ready @ 48ish to sit in the big chair? The woman-vs-woman dynamic would be interesting to watch in 2012.

I’m so dang unexcited by most of what passes for a conservative these days that I’m at a loss to come up with anyone that could get me excited about the man… although I will be voting for him.

Too bad we can’t give ole Maggie Thatcher a youth transplant and find a notation on her birth certificate attesting to being born on a US base in the UK. Yeah, I know – pointless to even type that last sentence. But hey, I need to dream occasionally…
