The Sec. of Commerce can be, as they say, a very “lucrative” position to occupy.

My guess that Obama is so completely befuddled by the complexities of “Beltway politics” he has turned over all control to the more experienced Clinton Crime Syndicate.

I think Bill Clinton did not like Richardson much – if any – and he found him to be less “squishy” than he appears. Thus, Bill Clinton vetoed his appointment (probably hoping for someone for “flexible” and someone more easily intimidated).

We shall have to see what becomes of Bill Richardson and his legal problems. And, I am sure Richardson does not want or need a hole in the head.
