Even loyal Democratic voters must be asking themselves, “Why is Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens appearing in court charged with misappropriation of $250,000.00, but Congressman William Jefferson is walking around free after commandeering Louisiana National Guard vehicles to visit his home, which was found to contain hundreds of thousands of illicit dollars?”

It cannot escape everyone’s attention that the Democratic Party is doing its standard stonewalling protection of a loyal soldier found with his hand in the cookie jar, while sticking it to a Republican for similar behavior.
