The MSM, I think, is just wondering where it has gone wrong. After all of the support they’ve given BHO through favorable reporting, they wonder how he could not be higher in the polls. In this way, they conduct polls as a measure of their own salesmanship. Right now they’re in a period of assessment in which they’ll try other tactics to lift BHO’s numbers. I expect that they’ll soon learn that favorable coverage of BHO won’t be enough, and they’ll then shift to unfavorable coverage of McCain. I’m sure they’ve got a dossier of on McCain which they’ll begin to pull out and unload on him.
