McCain does not have to do anything yet, but he will have to bust a move at some point. I recommend he hammer Obonga and the Jackasses with the drilling for oil issue. The Jackass leadership is maintaining discipline with their Kyoto stance and are betting that they’ll win in November and ram the penalties down our throats. Make ‘em pay for that mistake.

McCain needs to emphasize the three areas of failure that will happen under the Jackasses’ watch.

1. Energy policy (what “energy” policy?)

2. Significantly raising the cost of capital and stifling innovation and job creation.

3. Foreign policy.

That way if Obonga and his party carry the elections in November, four years hence we can say, “We told you so.”
