Point taken, but California is a very big place. San Francisco, Berkeley, parts of L.A. County – yeah, that might be easy pickings. Orange and San Diego Counties, well, there are a lot of streets like mine which probably have 200 weapons amoung a dozen houses, with (active and ex-military) men behind those doors who are well trained in use and tactics. (And, that doesn’t include the gang-bangers down the street; I’m sure they have a few weapons of their own).

There is a reason beyond simply Bush’s “homeland” security that the “terror state” hasn’t attacked the “American state” since 9/11. Folks, for all their bravado, the jihadies have a well placed fear of us. They may be suicidal Islamic martyrs, but they are not nutty nihilists.
