“One hopes that there is some core clique in the Democrat Establishment that actually has enough common sense to care about the future of their children.” – Mongoose

Um .. nope. The horse of common sense left the barn somewhere between 10 and 30 years ago. It takes “true believers” to vote for a guy with less than two years Senate experience, NO accomplishments, solid Marxist/Socialist connections, the son of foreign national, a family Muslim background, and an Arabic middle name, seven years removed from 9/11. There is NO escaping responsibility for this least election vote. Over half of voting Americans put their children’s lives and future into the hands of THAT one, the messianic BHO.

Even aside all of what I just mentioned, an American electorate which failed to recoil in mass outrage when a woman’s 15 year old pregnant daughter was attacked by national mobs for NOT aborting a handicapped child (as the first story went, Palin forced her unwilling daughter to have the Downs Syndrome baby because of her reactionary religious beliefs ..), or when an “average working guy” had an entire state government apparatus activated to find incriminating on him because he asked a question, and the ONE flubbed the answer, well, it will stand and accept any outrage.

There is NO hope that the Democrats will change their mind. If they were dying from a chemical or nuclear attack tomorrow, their last words would be “that f-cking, g-damn ‘shub’ killed us all …”. These people are beyond human reason and logic in classical western terms, and do not have the intellect to understand the larger, long term impact, of say, the government owning a 1/3 stake in all major businesses (i.e. it makes political leaders the primary decision makers in business, ending up with successful failed Soviet or Chinese “5 year” plans).

It is hard to comprehend, but America IS in desperate straights, from both economic and security perspectives, and the country has lashed our bodies and souls to a man committed in every fibre of his being, to making it all very much worse.
