Yup, Moby Dick strikes again. Had me fooled. The only real defense against this is to go to a university research library and check the original paper copies on the library shelves. Anything on the Internet can be hacked and/or photoshopped including the “original” information at http://www.time.com/time/coversearch .

It occurs to me that we will be in a 1984/”Ministry of Truth” situation after all the libraries scan their paper copies and convert to on-line PDFs. If there is no original hard copy left to validate against then who knows what the truth is?
