I guess the first question that pops into my head is:

What exactly, was the objective of these women in choosing a male child for adoption?

Second, of course, is what in the world where the DHS caseworkers thinking when they allowed this adoption (unless this was done through some sort of non-public means)?

Arguably, two lesbians would have “gender problems” with any male, let alone a male child who they exercise authority over. No “normal” (e.g. sane, biological) mother would want her son to be given hormones at age 8 to 11 to turn him into a physical girl. NONE.
