Let me see if I’ve got this straight. The young boy likes to act and dress like a girl. Ok. Growing up in a Lesbian household one might suspect a bit of nurture vs. nature here (if not overt mind washing), but let it slide for now.

So in order to see if he really wants to be a girl, they will stop him from becoming an adolescent boy. So he can’t actually experience the changes that would likely make him far more masculine and change his predilection for female traits. I suspect it’s more than a bit of wish fulfillment on the part of the two mommies.
