Yeah I’ve always wondered why that money counterfeiting thing went down the memory hole. Why did they let those guys go? Either it was because the money was too fake to worry about or because the fakes were so good someone got squeezed. Or they weren’t fakes at all and someone was squeezed real hard. If you believe the feds–it was monopoly money. But I understand these days that’s a heck of a caveat.

Too bad no one ever saw fit to run that story to ground.
