Sports metaphors are over-used but I can’t resist. Senator Obama reminds me of the team that ran away with its division by mid-year and is heavily favored to march to the title. But then he drops games inexplicably (sit down with our enemies, Pastor Wright, invade Pakistan, campaign financing reversal, “bitter”, guns, FISA, #states in the Union, Auschwitz, tax hikes, pull out of Iraq no matter what, etc. etc.) and and looks all too human. He’d better hope that the Convention happens soon or he might not even get to the Championship.
