oneeye/209, how rewarding it is to read that. Just the knowing someone takes note, justifies reading & responding rather than ignoring someone like Victor, whom i think turns out to be not worthless after all, but just misguided. That “apartheid state of Israel” for example, is a hot button intended to create hatred (whether V knows that or not).

But ‘apartheid’ has a definition, and Israel does not meet the definition. If it does, if the word’s loose use is to be defended as acceptable slang, then i occupy the apartheid state of Texas, with latins choosing the southern river valleys, africans the eastern woodlands, germans the central hills, anglos the northern plains (insurance salesmen Dallas) and amerindians and mestizos the great chiricahuan desert far west.

Heck, Israel is apartheid the way people are apartheid –people grow up with and marry into families like their own, choose neighbors like themselves, because they want to be with others who all send & receive same nonverbal understandable social signals –because mis-sends are often misleads and insulting and thus it’s extra work to get along with unfamiliars. Is this a spectacular insight?

So one can’t sit in one’s mostly this or that race neighborhood and criticize Israel with a false hate word and still be worthy of any respect on the topic.

Especially in light of the unprecedented and, were it not become so familiar and ordinary, intolerable perpetual war of aggression and extermination being waged against the state of Israel and the people.

And particularly in regards to the word ‘apartheid’ in the light of the intifadas and their apartheid plastering of jewish-only body parts in Israeli metro areas, maybe Israel should be an apartheid state –but still, she isn’t (read the definition, it takes official policy and governing procedures –IOW, state action and ethos).

What other small state faced with similar circumstances would be able to make that claim after all that has happened? Answer: not too many, if any. Yet, in a display of crowning injustice and perfect inversion, that charge is thrown at Israel, daily, frivolously, as if words mean nothing, even tho words are what begat the very sapiens sapiens incarnation that we all are part of.

ok no more ranting from me –sorry –got a case of logorreah –must be something i read –
