I’m confused, blert. I don’t see a conflict between what I said and the contention that it’s their love of Sharia that’s the problem. Not that I doubt that the KSA mechanisms you outline are central to their current strength, but it almost sounds like you’re saying there is such a thing as a moderate Muslim, one whose values might somehow coincide with ours.

I don’t see how that can be true given the tenets of the religion. When you strip it down to its core, it looks like nihilism to me, just like the leftism that’s trying to devour us in concert with it.
