Rauf continued to speak off-the-record after an interview was concluded. He compares himself to a football coach who sends in “players” like Obama to move the ball forward a couple yards at a time. Rauf is soft spoken but leaves no doubt about who is in charge and who is calling the plays.
Rauf is very clear about what he is up to. He is the soft side of the Muslim Brotherhood. He uses his charm and pleasant personality to keep the lambs comfortable and resting while the distant wolves salivate and dream of feasting on the carcass.
One has to be brain dead to not at least consider that the Cordoba islamic center would be used as an empowering symbol throughout islamoworld. Bloomberg and his liberal cohorts either refuse to acknowledge reality or they just don’t care. I’m not sure which it is although it doesn’t seem to matter anymore. The same bad end results in either case.
We’re in a race. Either the Left consolidates enough power so it can ignore public opinion and elections, or the Great Unwashed pushes them into political Siberia. Like Lincoln siad, “A house divided cannot stand. It will be one way or the other.”
