Obama …who speaks to strangers more clearly than to his own.”

…….
In part this is a legacy of Columbia University. Columibia adopted the radical chic of the 60′s. Obama’s church had an agenda that looked like it could easily have been written by a couple of the leftist departments at columbia. There just was no distinguishable difference. The school of political science at Columbia was where Obama got his BA. political science is a nomenclatura language to begin with. That is the language is adopted to learn the party line. A Poly Sci MA or PHD will get one to the top of a government bureacracy but rarely into politics. (Obama shifted to a law degree.) Columbia University raised the language of political science to a new level by giving it a point of view that is not american. That is, Columbia takes the point of view of the foreigner so as to introduce them sovereignly to America.

Poly Sci at Columbia is an out of body experience.

That was Obama’s formative experience imho because so often the language that he speaks is outside of himself.

We will know about the guy himself only with time. but it will all come out — slowly at first.
