Reading a book called “Angry Wind” by Jeffrey Taylor, a travel writer like Robert Kaplan. In the book he goes native and travels across the Sahel of Muslim black Africa. It is interesting in that it shows Muslims not as monolithic murderous savages (probably nuking them all is a bit of overkill, friend Habu) but struggling, ill-informed, largely harmless people trying to survive in broken lands. It also pictures lands without built in survival mechanisms like our Constitution provides. Thank God we live in America.
