Bob, the S-300 is a POS. So far it has zero kills out of many opportunities. It didn’t do the Syrians any good when they took out the Syrian reactor. It is useless against any First line American aircraft. Maybe an French Piper Cub? It is just a souped up SA-10 with a smaller warhead and the same junk electronics.

There is a larger question. Given that the West eventually follows the logic of the Three Conjectures, what will following it do to us? I submit that the victory (which is not at all in question unless the West altogether loses its collective spine) would be somewhat Pyrrhic.
