Official Contest Rules and Regulations
The grand-prize winner will be drawn from all entrants who correctly guess the winner of the election and the number of electoral votes garnered. A second drawing will determine the runner-ups. Odds of winning depend on number of entrants who guess the results correctly.
The first place winner will receive a Logitech Harmony One universal remote (average retail value in USA (ARV): $199.00; the runner up will receive a 10th anniversary, limited-edition Encounter book set, titles include six classic titles that engage, illuminate, admonish, and inform: America’s Secular Challenge by Herbert London, Black Rednecks and White Liberals by Thomas Sowell, Climate Confusion by Roy W. Spencer, Londonistan by Melanie Phillips, Mexifornia by Victor Davis Hanson, and The Rape of the Masters by Roger Kimball (average retail value in USA (ARV): $99.95). Contest entries are limited to one per person. Winners will be announced on 11/7/2008. Winners will be asked to provide a valid shipping address to receive their prize, but will not be required to pay any shipping or handling costs. To be eligible, entries must be completed and received on or by the closing date of the draw. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. Pajamas Media is not responsible for lost, misdirected or delayed entries. Entries received by telephone, fax, courier or personal delivery will not be accepted. Entries will be accepted from 10/28/2008 through 11/4/2008 12 am (PST). Winners will be drawn on 11/5/2008. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which Pajamas Media may deem appropriate. By entering into this contest you will be placed on Encounter Books email list and Pajamas Media email list and will receive the Pajama's Media Daily Digest. You will have the ability to opt-out of both lists. Employees and immediate family of Pajamas Media including network bloggers are encouraged to enter but ineligible to win prizes.
