The NYT might have an excuse?

The reporters got the info from the FBI and the US Attorney. The press release does mention the word “Jihad” several times. But not the word “Muslim”. Perhaps the reporters were concerned it might be an Episcopalian jihad? Amish?

The NYT got that information from a loud mouth Democrat on the intelligence committee. One thing you don’t hear much about is that both Russia and China have a huge Muslim problem. The NYT is simply a bunch of wimps that don’t dare to print the truth.

Forget David Rohde, who seems to be admirably honest about his opinions, and take a look at the comments. Many commenters seem angry about his publishing this story because it makes the Taliban look bad, when they are no worse and probably better than we (and all those Christianists) are. (If you think I’m exaggerating, feel free to wade into that swamp.)
