Perhaps not all the female slaves of Allah are on board with this campaign, even in Western countries. Over at muslimahmediawatch.com, the editors carefully and repeatedly call this brutal practice “cutting,” not “mutilation.”

One cannot read minds to determine their motivations, but several of their commenters have pointed out that the Muslim prophet approved the practice as long as the slashing, carving, and amputations did not prevent the husband from achieving his entitled sexual pleasure.

FGM can slow down or be eradicated if the perpetrators are approached in a very “cunning” way. Remember this is a culture which they have grown up with and they believe it has to go on. Let us consider our entry points to the issue…..let us approach the custodians of the culture , who are often the elders ,if convinced this can change for the better.The more you put it in the papers/media , castigating the practice…the more they become protective and hence work towards preserving it…to them its like washing dirty linen in the open!!

Left-wing identity politics, which promotes this perverted version of “tolerance”, is inherently racist.

This ideology, far from eliminating racial discrimination, sees the world exclusively in terms of race. Furthermore, it establishes a hierarchy of racial worthiness, with whites and Jews seen as evil while Arabs and blacks are good.

Of course, gender identity politics suffers from similar problems.

The victims of FGM are unlikely to complain to the authorities or to the public until they are grown up. Is there any way to enforce a ban on FGM if the police don’t know about it?

Female genital mutilation is one exhibit of the victim’s property rights being violated. The Dar al Harb does a better job in protecting/respecting property rights. For the Dar al Harb does it more often, and for more people than the Dar al Islam. For the Dar al Islam protects and/or respects the property rights of some, and only part of the time, but when it comes to the Dar al Harb, they are protected and/or respected none of the time.
