A beautiful piece. Most people I know refuse to believe that a new wave of genocide is not only possible, but is actually in the development stages. As Iran openly prepares Round Two of the Holocaust ("the next 6 million"), Appeasement has never been a more popular policy. As usual, it presents itself as "realism".

An interesting example is displayed at www.mistermoleman.com, where Frankie Sturm of the Truman National Security Project and I are debating whether we can all "learn to live with an Iranian bomb."

A warm and full Pesach to all.

We are, alas, not even out of Egypt yet, in the sense that the darkness and superstitions of the world have falen over our lives again, and when the plagues fall one by one we are blamed, but we must prepare ourselves to go out again, bake our matzah, cvross the Red Sea, and receive the Law yet again--that is, recommit to the covenant and all its responsbilities in joy and optimism.

Pass the maror and the charrosit, please.

The Case for Israel, an opinion.

The Manhattan project that developed the first atomic bomb in 1944 at Alamogordo was headed by American Jew physicist Oppenheimer. It relied somehow on the knowledge supplied by German Jew Albert Einstein, and Danish Jew Niels Bohr. The leading scientist at Alamogordo, and the brain behind the bomb, was Hungarian Jew Leo Szilard.

The Iranians, that once as Persians were very intelligent, but are now mired in the swamp of Islam, can not figure it out yet, not yet. Islamic countries, especially the Arabs, have not invented anything worthy of the name, artifact, gauge, weapon, new technology, since the discovery of the number zero, many centuries ago, that some people say they stole from the Hindus and now use around their heads. That they even have to use arms designed and manufactured by the Infidels, contributes to their inferiority complex.

It is said the Jews are the chosen people. In that timeless book of the Hindus, the Bhagavad Gita, when Arjuna in dejection despaired on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, in front of the mighty enemy, Krishna (God) told him: Fight! Krishna said that it was his Dharma to fight even if it cost Arjuna his life.

Likewise Israel’s Dharma now is to fight, as Israel is the Nemesis of Islam expansionism. But not to fight a defensive war, for on attrition and because of a lack of population, Israel will finally fail and go down. Israel must fight a preventive war. That’s why I am and advocate of attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities right away, and if they answer as they say they would, follow up with decisive atomic power. Will many people die? Probably. Will a second Holocaust be averted? Probably. Were that to happen, it will usher a period of Pax Islamica for many years to come.

"When he [Mr. Weinstein] arrived in America, Weinstein worked for ten years as a Singer sewing machine operator in the garment district."

I wrote recently about Singer sewing machines, and in the looking, I found that the building was located at #1. Liberty Plaza. The building was demolished in the mid-60s, at the time the largest building ever to be demolished. Then I knew.

What on earth would possess me to write about sewing machines? Maybe everything is woven together into a pattern I don't see.

Phyllis, this is a very moving piece. Thanks

As I once mentioned, I am a student of the Shoa, specializing in Aktion Reinhard, the operation that involved 4 death camps around Lublin in the General Gouvernement; namely, in order of construction: Chelmno, Belzec, Sobibor, and Treblinka. The 2 leading authorities currently researching this event are British subject Michael Tregenza who moved to Lublin itself for that purpose (he speaks Polish), and retired Scotland Yard inspector Robin O'Neil, who resides in England.
http://www.jewishgen.org/yizkor/belzec/Belzec.html

Many people know about Auschwitz, but more Jews were killed in Aktion Reinhard's 4 camps than in Auschwitz. Auschwitz was a combination of labor camp (Arbeit lager) and death camp (Toten lager), but the other 4 were strictly death camps. Whereas in Auschwitz the killing was done using Zyklon-B that killed rather swiftly, in Belzec, Sobibor, and Treblinka, Russian tanks' engines exhaust was used, causing a far more crueler death that sometimes required up to half an hour to kill. Chelmno used gas vans.

The revolt in Treblinka, where Mr. Weinstein was, was smaller compared to the one in Sobibor. In Sobibor, the German guards made a mistake. Soviet prisoners of war, when found to be Jews, were executed. The SS sent a group of Soviet prisoners to Sobibor for that purpose, but the camp guards kept them as laborers without knowing that some of them were officers, like Sasha Peshersky, who was the leader of the revolt, and died in his native Ukraine in the 1980s.

On Polish antisemitism, let me just say that the other leader of the Sobibor revolt, the one that recruited Peshersky, a great man with the name of Leon Fenhendler, survived the war to be killed in a Pogrom in his native town in Poland. Simply the Poles did not want to return stolen property to the Jews.

As far as I know, there is one survivor of the Sobibor revolt living in the US, in Seattle. He is a living legend. His name is Toivi (Thomas) Blatt. I interchanged emails with him 2 weeks ago. He was 14 at the time of the revolt, and his role was to lure several SS officers to locations where the Soviet/officer Jews killed them.

You may consider contacting him, and writing an article. If you need his email, please let me know.

Another important survivor, Slovak Jew Filip Muller, the only Jew to survive the Sonderkommando of the Auschwitz crematoria, died on February 19, 2009, less than 2 months ago. He was 87.

young people do not remember because universities are cesspools of lies, violence against jewish students, and hotbeds of malign scum, the hamas supporters. as if anyone not a psycho could or would support such an evil, treacherous rogue army.

there are plenty of them, however, and the one thing we all can do is withdraw every penny of gifts, donations from these universities that harbor jew haters. thousands of letters and emails to the administrations of these schools, once primarily supported by jews, should get their attention.

i started by writing to Depaul university whose lecture on the rocket attacks on sderot, israel and their effect on children, was shut down because of the violent, hamas islamic supporters. Depaul has not yet issued an apology for this outrageous incident. and, personally i am sick and tired of this crap.

once and for all, don't support any of them with one penny, and make sure foundations that give are made aware of why they should withdraw, as well.

sanctions against schools work too.
