Excellent site hosting revelation after revelation on what makes, er, Islam tick!

http://www.islamreview.com/articles/Islam_is_not_a_religion.shtml - Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.

To 6. DQ: On Islamic inbreeding -

You say causes all kinds of problems in Moslems including "lower I.Q. contributing to flawed thinking– i.e. not thinking for yourself, not analyzing orthodoxy, not being capable of analyzing anything" -
than how is it Islam has not only made inroads into the splendidly sophisticated and technologically advanced countries of Europe among them England, Holland and France, as well as Finland, Denmark and Sweden - but seems pretty much to be running the roost and getting their ways including the infiltration of shari'a, while America, a democracy of intelligent people ensconced a Moslem fathered American President whose place of birth may very well be Kenya, Africa?

The very country targeted - aside from Israel and the rest of the world - of Islamic State sponsored terrorism - America!

Who would you be calling stupid?

Rational Joe at #72 writes, "There is no absolute truth based on an Eternal Law giver, but only truth that is relative to the time."

If truth is relative, then so is your statement that truth is relative. In other words, your statement that "truth is relative" is relative, too. Hence, your position leads only to skepticism and the complete renunciation of true knowledge. Everything else you just wrote, by your own definition, would be relative. Your position leads to a total dead end where there is neither truth nor reliable knowledge - in fact, there is nothing.

And at that dead end, to be consistent, you'd have to "live" like David Hume did: simply stop writing, stay in your room, have your food brought in, and do nothing because there are no absolutes - everything is relative, in your view.

Here's an absolute for you: you're truly reading this on an internet browser.

The true libertarian Ayn Rand and the respected Philosopher Aristotle were wrong in their assessment on morality. They based universal truth on the subjective nature of culture. There is no absolute truth based on an Eternal Law giver, but only truth that is relative to the time. If truth is really based on liberal relativity, then what right to do we have to say to another culture that they are wrong for how they treat their enemies. Just because we say and feel it is wrong in our culture does not mean that it is wrong in another culture, even one like the Radical Muslims. I guess the most we could discover through the scientific method was that one culture could be deemed stronger than the other based on the values it chose for itself. But if truth is conservative meaning objective, transcendent (meaning from God), and unchanging. Then behavior that is contrary to our beliefs in right or wrong should trigger a feeling of wanting justice to be done to those who violated the law we naturally deem to be OBJECTIVE, TRUE, AND ABSOLUTE

I have no respect for Islam, it is a violent religion and every time there is violence, terrorism, or suicide bombings, there is islam. Long before Bush was President, there was terrorism, and what scares me is that what has happened in the UK, especially London where muslims rule and the Britísh people are too scared to speak out, this will happen in the USA. Muslims hate the west, but use the west for their own purpose, they have no respect for Christianity, but demand that we change to accomodate them. If I go to Iran, I cannot ask or demand anyone to change to accomodate my beliefs. I cannot even carry a Bible in public in Saudi Arabia. Why are we giving billions of dollars to Egypt and Lebanon? why do we support the saudis? we need to find other sources of oil, so we can leave the arab world. I do NOT hate muslims, but I hate their religion..it accomodates pedophilia, a girl is of age when she is 10.. this is Sharia law. Imagine girls beaten or raped or ´killed just for going to school,. yes, this is Afghanistan. Hamas terrorists use their own people as human shields. Yet the whiners in the USA and the liberal press lambast Bush because of Guantanamo where only there prisoners were waterboarded.. well..I would like to see the leftwingers and the liberals in the media speaking out about the abuses and human rights abuse by Islam, instead of blaming the US for everytime the Arab world shout. Imagine, the UN is so afraid of Islam, they would speak out against Israel, but never against Hamas. Human rights groups never speak out agaínst what is happening in Sudan. I am personally sick of it and I hope that this president will open his eyes, because Islam is the perpetrator of hate, death, abuse and violence. Death to America.. is the all too familiar chant.. imagine what would happen if after Sunday worship, people chanted death to islam.. wow, what a reaction there would be. If Muslims dont like the west, they should leave, just leave, if their way of life is better, then go back to your countries and bomb each other and leave the West alone and to be fair, I think we should leave the Arab world, it is only problems.

One mentioned earlier that Muslims who do not believe in the radical & violent, are intimidated by those who are so violent. I think this is more true than we care to admit. Even here in America.
However, I also think, so long as the violent ones continue to mount up what some think are victories, albeit political & incremental, they will remain silent. They may do so out of fear that if the violent guys win, they will have to pay the price. they may also do so because they are convinced Islam is the only religion & so long as the violent guys are wining why not just keep your mouth shut & hope they win.
The whole thought process is so convoluted to those of us who do not subscribe to such radical thought, that we reject this since it seems so irrational. Yet the question may be, are we being foolishly rational while fighting against an enemy who actually is totally irrational so they can win?
I happen to think many Muslims are remaining silent & just bidding their time. If the violent win, they figure they do. If the violent lose, they keep their religion, & the other guys get prison or death. They think its a win-win situation for them, & they are hedging their bets.
Rape is about power over others whether it is male-female or male-male. In our society, the victim is to be treated with respect, dignity, & compassion. In their society, you have failed if you permitted yourself to be raped, even if it was done by superior numbers you could never have fought off.
Unless & until Muslims realize their system is obscenely convoluted according to the rest of the world, they will march on hoping they can overcome all & make all bow down in submission.
I bet it will take Muslims decades or even centuries to finally realize what their religion has to offer is suffering, hate, humiliation, & eventual defeat. In the meantime many seeking to make peace will cost others their lives, until many others among us wake up & actually fight back for our own very survival. Some are already fighting, while others are attacking them & trying to appease in hopes they will be treated nicely by their subjugators.

Phyllis, You've got guts in dealing with some of the toughest issues. When I heard about these rapes I wasn't surprised, but thank God I am still shocked by such atrocities. Most people are too scared to face these realities in our world. I admittedly have a well proven and fail-proof avenue for escape, even though it is temperary, I don't pretend that it is other than it is. But I do try to live my life according to my own standards, and probably much too often excuse myself for my sins of ommission. But I simply refuse to beat my head against a brick wall ever again. I can't understand how some humans can do the things they do. I couldn't protect my own child from "parental alienation" by her own father and his family. Oh, I didn't take it lightly by any means. Too many were saying there was nothing I could do, but I haven't stop looking. When it gets too painful now, I end the pain. What a way to live! But at least it enables me to live on, so I can continue to search, expression my feelings, choose to behave within the set of rules to which I have reconciled, not only for myself, but others. but I don't take anything laying down anymore. People know when I'm fed up, and should be grateful that I'm not a pistol-packin mama! My worst enemies are fortunate it was me they dealt with. I know this to be true, yet they're not even vaguely aware. Writing has become an outlet for me, and if I ever sound bitter, so be it. But I'm more than that, and I continue to value all life, for only herein resides hope. I know that you've been tempted many times to give up. Just know that there are those of us who can relate.
