I’m amazed at the reports of opposition also.

The passage was timely. One locale that needs scrutiny is
Galveston Texas, USA. Two years ago a then 12 year old was
the victim of an attempted kidnapping by “undercover” police.
She fought them off. They later came to school and arrested
her for “resisting.” The next trial she faces is scheduled

I too suspect that this bill is fraudulent because Catherine “all sex is rape” MacKinnon supported it.

While I can’t know who opposed the bill, I’d like to know why it was opposed. Are there flaws that will eventually lead to it being used against people who were never its intended targets? Is the San Francisco Left angry at the thought that sex workers are being denied their dignity and freedom to “practice”? Are the Nevada brothels afraid that they will somehow be targeted?

Well, those things would probably point to who. But the why is really worth knowing.

Thank you for acknowledging this milestone, detailing the provisions of the act and thanking the heroes who worked together in a sensible right/left coalition that ought to be a model for working and middle class people who are losing the class war in this country.
