The enabling horror of WWII were the collaborationist European Countries that enabled the destruction of European Jewry. There too the greed over acquisition of apartment left with all its accruiments for the taking displaced any instinct for saving fellow human beings from slaughter. Hitler and Germany alone did not commit the atrocities against the innocent.
