Sadly, much of the youth of today have a sound bite mentality. They don't need the story, but the tease or the headline to "know it all." And these things are being used to manipulate the ignorant masses.

Phyllis, Seriously? You fall somewhere in between? Come on, I know you're smarter and more educated that that statement. Obama and all that associate with him support strong arming tactics, bullying tactics, anti-semetic remarks, hateful and racist views.

I had a little boy maybe 10 years old GASP at me with his eyes popping out of his head as he realized I was wearing a McCain button. 10 YEARS OLD. (not shouting) There is no room for dissent in his world.

He is NOT a Democrat. He does not support women's issues. Even IF he is not a Moslem he is pals with Farhakan who is one. We know what their views on woman are. YOU know what their views on women are. Your left-wing intellectual friends are correct on one point...don't waste your vote. Vote McCain so that you have a chance to vote again in four more years.

re: Tina's comment-I am finding it less and less remarkable how many feminists can minimize woman hating "sharia" laws. All I have to do is look and see how many women are willing to get behind draconian, xtian, woman hating, abortion laws. If Republicans can call Sarah Palin a "feminist" then anything is possible I guess.

"...younger Americans get their information mainly online or on TV and not through books." -- Like "feminists" who sucked up all the Serbophobic poison about systemic mass-rape camps from CNN in the 1990s. As Croatian feminist Vesna Kesic put it, that was feminist porn. It belongs in the dumpster with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

After selectively disenfranchising me in Florida, the Democrats had the nerve to ask me to participate in "emergency voter registration" here, presumably so I could collect the votes, legal or illegal, of people more desirable to them than me, my vote having been thrown in the trash.

This is why I changed parties this election: women need to stop being doormats to the Left and the DNC, and the DNC needs to hear this message.

And I'm sorry, but many national "feminist leaders" are self-selected doormats of precisely that type. it's a vicious circle -- only self-loathing types rise through the system. Not all are like this, of course, but some of the most recognizable among them are.

Look at Obama's financial support for the Kenyan leader Raila Odinga, who has pledged to institute sharia law. How could any "feminist leader" get behind that? Practice, I suppose.

My mother said that she walked into the voting booth in 1948 thinking she would vote for Wallace, but she decided to vote for Truman at the last minute and did so.

The Floridians who voted for Nader in 2000 in effect elected George W. Bush. If 1/10 of the Nader voters had voted for Gore, Gore would simply have carried Florida and we would never have heard of hanging chads. One may disagree on whether this was good or bad.

I am happier to hear that people are concerned about which candidate to choose than I am when I hear the intense words of partisans. On the other hand, far be it from me to say that partisanship has to be bad.
