I take it for granted that anyone possessing a soft science graduate degree from Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Dartmouth, or other “elite” university is a pseudo educated, intellectual slut—until proven otherwise. This is, sad to say, a very rational, balanced, and fair way of dealing with such individuals. And yes, I did say fair. It’s unfortunate that a small number of good people must suffer because of the bad apples. Such is life.

I am sadly glad — if there is such a thing — that I went to college in the 1980′s, as I don’t think I could put up with this crap for very long if I were a student at the Columbia — or any other — campus today (in which case, I would either be expelled for not being “diverse” enough or, more likely, killed by some “anti- colonialist” thug in the name of Allah — who, remember, is always described by his followers as “the benificent” — for stating my own view that these people should all go live in a muslim country if they hate us so much).

Bottom line folks — and the line that Dr. Chesler keeps stating over and over (eventually, I pray, to some effect): it’s not only the Jews who are threatened by Islam (and don’t tell me it’s only “radical” Islam that’s the problem; I’ve read the Koran); it’s the Jews FIRST, then the rest of us. You cannot sit down and attempt to reason with a people who seek your annihilation.

I find it incomprehensible that leftists who support gay rights, women’s rights, and minority rights cannot do so when Islam is involved. Leftists are not visible at Save-Darfur rallies. This makes no sense. The Left licks Islamic ass–figuratively, of course. I would have no objection if they did so literally.

Somewhat off-topic, but interesting that you mentioned the French Revolution. One part of that revolution was the ongoing effort to DeChristianize France. This is something I expect to start happening in the next few years on campuses across the US (I am quite sure the underpinnings are already well in place), and which I expect will eventually be pushed out into the rest of the country.

They will make that day on Kent State look like a summer picnic.
