Have any of you listened to the full, 17 minute speech he gave to donors at that dinner, this past week-end? I have, and I can tell you, Sen. Biden was not in his usual “gaffe” mood. The atmosphere was actually quite sombre when he spoke. From what I could gather, Biden said that foreign powers would create a generated international crisis. He even said “mark my words”, in order to be emphatic that it would happen within the first 6 months of Obama’s presidency. He was quite clear that he could name 5 or 6 places where it could come from, most likely the Middle East or Russia. He was also stating that people would become disillusioned with Obama and that his supporters would wonder why they were “so down in the polls”. It looks like, with the first big crisis, the mask would come off, and people would see Obama’s true colours. He was begging people that when that time comes, to “stick with us” and to not lose their faith in Obama, like they have now. I think this was NOT a mistake speech delivered by Biden. He was not his usual hokey self and his voice was grave. It is like he was giving a subtle verbal nudge to people that McCain would be a far better President. The outside world sees Obama as weak, a person that would cave under pressure. Obama has stated, in his two best-selling books, that if the political winds were to turn ugly, he would side with the Muslims against the West. I think Biden sees the truth in Obama, and he is saying, what is under the mask, is not pretty. People would never attack America with McCain at the helm. We would be safer with him as President. I hope this analysis helps everyone here. Regards to everyone!
