Biden IS experienced. While a great BSer, he can’t help but have learned a couple things throughout his life. He has been very consistent in this campaign about Obama’s inexperience. He has never wavered in this. Makes you wonder if he isn’t really pulling for McCain, although that would be hard to imagine, as Biden seems pretty self-serving. It would make him the perfect Trojan Horse, however.
Here are a few scenarios for you:
1) The day Obama’s sworn in, the Chinese move to retake Taiwan. What would Obama do? My guess is talk, talk, talk… until it’s a fait accompli;
Russia moves to finish taking Georgia. No real response;
2) Iraq demands an immediate withdrawal of our forces, then the Shias go after the Sunnis with Iranian support. No way Obama can get involved with his previous stance on Iraq;
3) Iran does a test blockade of the straits of Hormuz. Does Obama get us into a shooting war with them? I doubt it. Negotiations would drag on while the price of oil goes way up, which is what Iran wants;
4) Venezuela takes overt action against Colombia, maybe with Russian support. What does Obama do? Probably nothing, but eventually negotiates in favor of Venezuela;
What would McCain do in these scenarios? I think you know. Because you know and they know, it wouldn’t ever happen. Heck, even Palin would handle them better.
