ok.. I am a litte upset at all of the warmongering. It’s almost as if you people don’t realize that our poicies in the US over the last 50 years hasn’t escalated tensions over seas.. what with the neverending financing of countries to go to war for us.. and the never ending sanctions we put on these countries, and when we declare our agreements with them.. and indiscriminatly break those agreements..

and then we get mad when those countries decide to torture and maim our people..

That’s why our administration repubs and democrats alike should refer to our forefathers texts. Our country has always kept it’s strength by not meddling in other countries affairs, by maintaining trade and friendships..

Boy the neocon republicrats seem to have you people brainwashed..

The era of promoting democracy has officially ended and the appeasement policies of negotiating with terrorists, Islamists, and South American dictators are now in place. US now telling all freedom loving people around the world, we don’t care what your government has done and will do to you, we (American) now say the hell with promoting democracy. We now want to follow the dark policies supported by Europeans, NYT, BBC, AP with no regards for human rights. We Americans now want to show the freedom fighters around the world our middle finger and say you wasted your time to follow Americans for helping you to establish democracy in your countries. From now on don’t waist your time to support any American policies, because policies will be changed and your struggle for anything related to human rights will be ignored by the next administration. That is what forces who are against US want which is: don’t ever count on your relationship with the US.

Police stormed a hotel room in Warsaw Monday 5 May 2008 “Holiday Inn Hotel” , where a Kuwaiti man identified as Mohammad 23-year-old and he claiming he had a explosives, briefly held captive three Jewish teenagers, who were staying here in Poland for Holocaust commemoration ceremonies.The three Brazilians “originally identified as Israelis”, they were pulled into a sixth-floor room of Warsaw’s Holiday Inn after 9 A.M.
Police broke into the room just before 10 A.M. and took the suspect into custody without incident and none of the captives was harmed, and police found no explosives. Then the hotel was evacuated for a routine search. The area around the hotel was sealed off and police vans, ambulances and firefighters trucks were at the scene. Good point Sebastian. Reagan’s win secured the release of the Teheran hostages because they were afraid that the cowboy may just start pushing red buttons… in the beginning. I recall a sudden willingness to cooperate with the new president-elect.

Thing is, once they realized – later on – that Reagan wasn’t going to make ‘em glow in the dark, it got ugly. Beirut. That bought us the Cole and the Embassies and eventually NYC, DC and PA. Point being, mind-games work on the rational, not the fanatic. Fanatics and fools need be shown hard visible lessons – more to cow their potential followers and bank-rollers than anyone else.
