Sorry, I gotta go with the Lavern Baker 1957 original.

I've loved it ever since I first heard it on the soundtrack of the fifties-set 1987 movie with Matt Dillon as a brash young professional dice-player from the sticks in 1950's ChiTown..."The Big Town" who finds his affections divided between a glamorous stripper (Dianne Lane) and a beautiful single mom (Suzy Amis).

In the movie, the song is played right after he makes his first big score and is out on the town spending his newly-won winnings on silk zoot suits. skinny ties and two-tone shoes.

"And what did you do with all that money you won from me last night?"

Hey! I'm wearing it."
