All That’s Missing Is the Unicorn

Canadian journalism hits new low as reporter makes excuses for Indians who carjacked her station's van and stole her equipment.

Laura Brown didn’t see it like that, though.

In fact, she quickly jumped in to make excuses for her attackers:

Let’s pretend that Brown’s truck and equipment had been seized by “only about 5″ pro-life protesters outside an abortion clinic, after some of their number had set fire to a half dozen police cars.

Somehow I doubt she and her Twitter fans would’ve been quite so sanguine about all that.

Anyhow, a fellow reporter from evil, right-wing competitor Sun News took Brown to the RCMP to file an official complaint.

That reporter, the Sun’s Kris Sims, was threatened by Indians too.

That went a little differently…

"First Immigrants", Geoff. There were no Americas when they arrived, and besides, the accuracy of it really annoys the leftists.

Anyone remember the cartoon Dudley Do-Right?

"Dudley Do-Right is a dim-witted, but conscientious and cheerful Canadian Mountie who is always trying to catch his nemesis Snidely Whiplash, usually succeeding by pure luck"

It is time for a new cartoon of an RCMP officer.

One that is a simpering, craven boot licking fool whose bosses and the politicians are of the same stock.

We can alter the names slightly to indict the guilty.

Well let's see. Nobody from the mainstream media will cover the thuggish nature of these acts because a) All American Indians are "cute" and can only be the victims of violence and, b) They were protesting fracking which the media has decided is harmful and dangerous and damaging to ole' Ma Earth. As a result - No story here!

People will usually live up to your expectations. Low expectations=low results. High expectations=better results.

Good article. Now I know for a certainty that, using this logic, all white honkies aren't cultural appropriating racist pig-snouts - just most of them.

" Canadian Indians have a history of attacking journalists, soldiers, police and even ordinary civilians."

Which of these things is not like the other?

That's right, kiddies, the soldiers. The soldiers are not like the rest. They are part of what is known as "the military", which is also sometimes called "the armed forces". They operate under the authority of the Chief Executive, and are subject to a different set of laws than the rest of the populace. In Canada, this set of laws is called the Code of Service Discipline. In America, it's the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

The other groups listed are subject to the ordinary laws of their province and the national government, NOT the Code of Service Discipline, and therefore, are "ordinary civilians".

Well, some of them may, as individuals, be extraordinary, but I think you get the point.

First Nations (Canada's preferred term for Natives/Indians -- I like First Americans myself) are among Canada's poorest people. Fracking would produce revenues, jobs, and lower-cost energy to warm those New Brunswick winters. I was stationed in Northern Maine and I know what those NB winters are like.
So of course the radical part of the First Nation tribe demands to stop one of the most valuable things that could happen. And the reporter is just chipper about it, even with the damage to vehicles and theft of equipment.
That burned RCMP cruiser produced more CO2 and pollution than fracking is likele to do, and the soot from the cruiser is all to no purpose.

There is some evidence that the "American Indian" was not the first group to arrive here. They likely engaged in conquest from an earlier group.

With her combination of gullibility, neediness and low self-esteem, I predict Miss Brown is going to meet a great many...interesting...people as she goes through life.
