It’s probably someone like my brother who can’t remember verbal information unless he writes it down. Then he discards his notes because at that point he’s memorized the information. The actual note itself is not the point; it’s the kinesthetic activity of writing that’s the point.
The handwriting on that note is very similar to my brother’s chicken scratchings as well.

I go with the kinesthetic (nice word, btw; I’m impressed you used it, Penney). I do a version of the same thing, though I’m enough of a neat freak (in some ways but not all) that my notes are more legible…and I don’t throw them on the ground after making them.
