Rule of Law

Will anything happen to the officials who broke the rules? Not likely. The only remedy the Constitution provides is a significant defunding of OPA operations, so that there is no funding for the salaries of the people responsible. Consider: Schmaler landed a high-dollar gig at David Axelrod’s shop. Rewards await those who push the ideological boundaries inside the DOJ and FBI.

Pay attention. This crowd rewards their lawless fighters, like the Chicago gangsters of old. The response from conservatives and the GOP must be more than shock and outrage at their behavior, or else it will continue.

—————————

UPDATE: This post was updated to reflect that the FBI Office of Public Affairs intervened in the national security policy, not the DOJ OPA. The summary of the still-secret report by the DOJ Office of Inspector General made reference to the “Office of Public Affairs (OPA)” without any specificity as to which office of public affairs was involved. It required Congressional inquiries this morning to obtain an answer as to which OPA was at issue. The updated post clarifies that previously unclear question.

Some people say that fear of Muslim penetration of the US Government, especially under Obama, is an exaggeration, paranoia. There is nothing to see here, move on.

Some say that the United States is immune to the process of Eurabization, seen again in the Belgium Education Ministry releasing a cartoon directly comparing Israel to Nazi Germany.

Nothing to see, so just move on. When a Canadian fire fighter, married with two kids and an active volunteer as well, goes in to a cafe near a Muslim area of Toronto one morning, and is murdered by being knifed through the neck and head, the Canadian police can't find a motive. So please move on..

David Axelrod could not be possibly fronting for CAIR.

It must be fantasy that an Egyptian newspaper reported that six influential MB members had influential roles in the Obama Administration.

Nor did this Administration avidly support the Morsi regime, attempting to suppress any true instincts of freedom in Egypt while - deliberately or not- push a MB-Hamas (child organization of the Ikhwan) alliance on Israel's southern borders.

Nothing happened at Benghazi, and if it did, it no longer matters, so move on. Just ask Patricia Smith and the rest of the relatives. One by one, Obama, Panetta, Clinton and the others walked up to Smith as her son's body lay mangled in a Delaware military base, and blamed his fate on - Nakoula Nakoula. I said move on.

To Mr. Nakoula (or whatever the real name is), who gets out of jail very soon, there is nothing to see. Don't look behind you. Just move on.

Electing Johnny Walker Boehner and Drinks Priebus as RNC Chairman were parts of the Barack Obama Impeachment Prevention Act of 2010. The Left isn't going to become guilt-stricken aver what they are doing. The press isn't going to fight this Marxist. The GOP isn't going to DO anything about these actions. We can all sit around and imagine the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny are going to ride to our rescue. That is just one of the numerous fantasies that keep those opposed to Obama sitting on their rear-ends doing nothing. Nothing has been done about Fast & Furious or the other scandals.

It wasn't Darrell Issa and the GOP that uncovered the IRS scandal. It was some Tea Party groups and Mark Levin's Landmark Legal Foundation. Until you make immediate demands on the GOP weak sisters playing at oversight you might as well turn off the news and just watch cartoons. The people that see what Obama is doing are not going to act and the other 80% of the country are getting all of their news from the sympathetic press. Stop thinking some story about a liberal who is displeased is the first wave of a building tsunami that will effectively oppose Obama.

If we don't throw wrenches into the machinery of this operation it will just keep getting worse. Citizenship is a full-time job. It's not a once every other November appointment. Citizens-In-Name-Only are watching RINOs participate in making this a republic-in-name-only.

65 million ignorant, stupid fools put this monster in the White House because he bought them with tincup handouts and promises of more. As long as we allow irresponsibles to vote we will never resolve our current political dilemma.Somehow we must restrict the franchise to responsible persons and then undo ALL the awful tuff the leftists,(in both parties), have been sneaking with for over 80 years.

Dear Mr. Adams:

Have you read the 1974 Nixon impeachment issues report at least partially ghosted by HIllary Rodham and posted to the Washington post website by House Judiciary Committee member Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.)" ? It's at:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/stories/watergatedoc_1.htm

Bottom line? Obama should be impeached on multiple, clearly intentional, failures to carry out the duties of his office - e.g. by not firing Eric Holder for lying to Congress.

We need an impeachment movement - because senators voting to acquit or simply refusing to take the trial will be running the the mid terms, and will find themselves explaining that they provide real legislative value in the senate while supporting a president who lies to congress, passes his own laws by fiat, and refuses to enforce laws passed by Congress.

I believe the result would be full GOP control of both houses, Obama's immediate removal, and the consequent full repeal of Obamacare, Dodds-Frank, many executive appointments, and nearly all of Obama's unilateral actions.

Since legal is your beat.. please have a look at what can be done, who can do it, and what the results of action might be.

In the last ten years (or more) a tendency in corporate America is to have multiple reporting officials for employees that do the actual work. Essentially, the chain of command has been replaced with a net. To say that it makes difficult the finding of a person or persons responsible for a policy or action taken by someone at the sharp end of the stick is an understatement.

Based on this article it looks like the management net technique is in government as well. This reminds me very much of the web of agreements that were made between Germany and other states in Europe that led to a domino effect resulting in World War I.

I'm not saying that we're headed for a world war but it looks like we've traded clear responsibility for perceived redundancy and resiliency. But people are not machines, what we've really done is made our command and control systems more vulnerable to the forces of personality and ego. It seems we've made the command and control machines of government bureaucracy and corporate management vlunerable to the caprice and whim of of individuals with emotions and motives that have no place in thoughtful government and responsible management.

In a system where everyone is responsible, no one is.

The trouble is that the Constitution built in impeachment as a primary solution to lawless and stupid behavior at the federal level. For example, most people think Supreme Justices are appointed for life, when in fact they can be impeached any time. Look up the last time that happened, then look at the enumerated powers, and then look at an org chart of the federal government.

By law, Obama should've been impeached long ago. But that battle is fought on TV, where the socialists rule. We are not a nation of laws anymore, we're a nation of lawyers.

This sad reality will incur at explosive price, literally, for the failure to enforce the law around Moslems, who are an aggressive people intent on overthrowing freedom everywhere.

so, the fact that we have a muslim usurper of dubious character 'in charge', and another sympathizer lined up to take its place is finally becoming apparent to the moody masses eh?

good thing it didn't take the masses 5 years to realize we were being attacked in wwII. guess falling bombs exploding vs. people exploding doesn't elicit a similar response. pity that, since the side effects can be the same. these similar type actions stem from the same dark place too - extremist insanity for a perceived 'righteous' cause. long term brainwashing is extremely effective and near impossible to reverse.

after floating around the net and seeing the heated responses of late, I believe it is safe to say that the repub's trying to stop this gov. cold have a lot more support than one would believe by reading the prerecorded msm messages, or the old rino's expected regurgitation of 'no hope' and 'don't embarrass us'. there is no hope for them and its a little late for anybody to be worrying about being embarrassed. wwIII is knocking and we aren't even allowed to question anything the gov. does in our name. time for action. NOW!

if not now, when? if not us, who?

the crackin' commie-kenyan is approaching the red zone now. he's thinking t.d. or at worse, a 3 pointer. once 0-care is implemented it may well be too late. it will be modified constantly and used to control EVERY aspect of our lives. obi's (illegal) changes and exempting his muslim bro's, assorted friends and those who could stop it (congress & courts) shows us that the enemy understands where everybody stands on the issue. anybody believe if congress had to live w/ this monstrosity there would even be a fight going on there now?

very hard to write in this small box and keep your thoughts organized.
grade = F . was this software a gift from an unknown foreign benefactor (soros inc maybe)?

the bowing to kings should have told everybody just where our pitiful commie-kenyan allegiances lie. now we have him openly arming our sworn enemies who openly seek our destruction. we are paying for our own demise as it were. he tried to keep his loyal support for these muslim extremists a secret. secret's out now. guess we all can more easily speculate that Benghazi was something about arming some more bad guys gotten out of control? love the promised transparency. lies - a feature of muslim beliefs I believe.

The Muslim Brotherhood in America (MSA, CAIR and ISNA just to name three fronts) are a major national security threat ... WTF is going on with our clueless elites??

I guess they're bought. The dumber they are, the more easily purchasable, the higher they rise. And note that Nakoula has nothing to fear from his own government...nothing at all. He is quoted in an article published yesterday saying that he fears certain people, though not Muslims. Wonder who he meant?

If the Repubs ever get the reins of government again, they should set up a separate law enforcement organization, one which only responds to Congress, and its purview should be as an internal affairs organization for investigating, arresting, and prosecuting criminal behavior in the executive branch.

Silly boy - don't you know this administration and all its minions are above the law? I direct your attention to Benghazi - the IRS scandals - The Won's gracing his fav businesses, Congress, and others, from Obummer Care etc etc. These people don't actually see themselves as above the law - they ARE the law - at least in their eyes.
