SO I JUST DID A SEGMENT FOR PJTV on the bailout bill, pork, and the economy with Rob “N.Z. Bear” Neppell, Andy Roth, and Bill Allison. I was hosting from my basement, Bill and Andy were in a studio in DC, and Rob was in by webcam from his office in California, and it was all run from the studio in El Segundo. Paul Block, PJTV’s producer, emailed: “I actually think we made some sort of TV/Internet history. It’s the first time I ever saw an interview done via the internet where the host was in a remote location and he interviewed people in two other locations and it was all switched though a control room in yet a fourth location.” It felt a little strange, but it was fun. We’ll see how it turns out when it runs later tonight . . . .
