I got there late, because my town council spent 30 min on a $20-25K (2nd) ambulance buy. But after a motion and second, the town clerk mentioned that the expense would jeopardize the town’s ability to make $120K annual debt service.
and it took them ANOTHER HALF HOUR to realize they had to shoot down the motion!
