When the courts work int their favor the courts must be respected, when the courts do not deign to serve their interests, the courts are a poor substitute for for the "will of the majority."

The only consistency is their naked self interest.

Sure enough cue the leftist accusations. Have to give Justice Roberts cover to rewrite the law in their favor "because he doesn't want to risk the reputation of the Court". This is the noise machine hoping to recreate their victory in the last Obamacare case. They're just hoping the public won't notice this time, either.

Well, I'll let it be known that I agree. For me, the Court's reputation is on the line. If Roberts and company side with the government in this case I will conclude that the the Supreme Court is occupied solely by politicized hacks eager to fit in inside the Beltway. And I will insist that the next Republican President treat the sitting justices as nothing more than agents of the Democratic Party.

I don't get it -- the Feds REGULARLY use money to entice states to do what they want. This was purposely written into the ACA this way, and this was verbally acknowledged by important architects of the law. How can any person take progressives seriously when they want to pretend this wasn't all done on purpose when they were saying it was on purpose?

Oh, wait, I do get it -- progressives don't care about consistency, legality, or anything else except pushing their agenda.
