Perhaps its a good thing that the MSM is getting a financial comeuppance in return for the incompetence of their work.

But it’s still unsettling to witness the deterioration of one of our most important guardians of liberty. Important enough to be protected by the Bill of Rights.

Fortunately we do have the internet as a sort of back-channel resistance movement in which information can be shared and vetted. That helps. But the huge loss of MSM credibility – even though it’s their own damn fault – is still a potential tragedy in the making.

There is a justifiable firestorm when the government threatens to deny citizens their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. But no comparable firestorm as MSM credibility diminishes daily. That should be an equal concern for everyone – left and right, Republican and Democrat, urban and rural, male and female, even Red Sox and Yankee fans.
